5/13/95 "receptaculitid" - St Elian, 25 ft above base of cummingville "praxopora" - 10 to 12 ft above receptaculitids -we discarded the specimen cave & flowing creeks. Below this unit, covered slope leads short distance to valley floor. As we curved around road, we found another entrance to the cave at 90 deg. Chuckers Bar and Grill Fountain Fillmore Co., MN. $1.20. Sinkholes - St Minn. 80 to Weybolf, through Weybolf on State 80, to intersection of St. 16 & Co. 5. Took Co. 5 road south. Turned west on Fillmore Co. 12. Got to turn off to Grabau's X Y as it had rained & the road was in V poth shape we did not proceed. We returned to cnt. [illegible] & proceeded S on Co. 5 & Co. 12; then Co. 12 (cnt. labelled Forrestville). 6 Rifle Hill is 1 1/4 E & 1 mile N of Cherry Grove. pto. Cherry Grove is 9 miles SK of Spring Valley.
