5/31/98 Baker Station Railroad Cuts (Stop 2) Northwest of Goodlettsville - The Baker Station Road (US-41) crosses the Clarksville Pike about 2.25 northwest of Goodlettsville. Turn west for about 3/4 mile to railroad crossing. Park at tracks on north side. To South, three railroad cuts expose Osage down to Cincinnati; earlier we also walked farther SSE to a 4th railroad cut. 11 parking place Lower Shaly Osage Chattanooga first cut south (275'south) 625' of exposure along track Lego Wilson reports) Waldron (we found) Laurel 3' 5' top 2nd Cut South (600) (Lower Osage Chattanooga Laurel (Wilson reports) + we found) Osgood 13' Brassfield 9' Continued on next page
