Caesar Lake Spillway (+ tail)
Spillway sections, Holland 1993, saw about 27'+ of
limestone and siltstone with numerous bryoz., brachs.
and burrows. Lime beds have wavy bedded lower
surfaces, some have wavy bedded upper surfaces,
some have both ls.= limestone as base
conchoidal fracture truncated by those can only
be traced for abt. Herbertella sp. they are
truncated by ripple solitary corals
in general, smaller ones near base of section, &
several species; larger "homotrypa" are extensive
near top, "Dactyls", Herbertella sp., large solitary corals common. These have a cyclicity of 2' to 5'+
v. silty ls and thinner siltstones.
"Several" collections There are 6 or 7 (check photos) of
these cycles which are more silty in the lower 1/2
and then become less silty upwards.
