Indiana 101 road cut. large bivalve ca 3" across, stop radial ribbing Platystepha Strange "calcined algal outline" = hash of bitables? - forms distinctive layer perpendicular to bedding plane (up on end.) + weathering pattern 2 photos B+W 1/3 of the way down cut way, Pope & Key unit 3A is graded beds with iron oxide stains, phosphorite (?) and new brown yellow weathering topless spory calc. cement. 5/20/95/G.
