5/16/95 19 Dubuque. Corner of horos Blvd & Cox St. hoc. 51. Dubuque type locality - abandoned x north side of horos Blvd at COX ST. intersection. SW¼ sec24, T89N R3E. upper 21'9" of Dubuque Fm. with Maquoketa contact x has been partly filled for a parking lot acc. to leverson Gerb & Bridghead, 1978 hoc. 51. 1 B&W photo. We couldn't see Maquoketa Fm. Beds rippled above clay. Beds 8-10" acc to depth of burrowing. There are shales up to a couple inches -the shales came thick then thin environment of deposition ??? - a lot of silt in part due to extensive burrowing "Fockmarks" extensive in lower half of x north College Alumni Campus Center is a new bldg so Maquoketa Fm prob. removed in bldg this structure #20 Note US20 (Dodge St is being widened & there is considerable construction (20) 1/2 mile W of Devon St & Dodge St (US20) intersection road cut N side of Dodge St shows upper part of Dubuque Fm with a
