"Can here also a cast of the outside of a gemistite, the large one, like the one broken out of a nodule this morning, are coming from near Bend. Near the Culaephychus etc. the Smithsonian is 130 fathoms. Of this the upper corals foot is alive and the rest Held at 450. Just whether the top is wooded is not known. Why it is here less than 220 fathoms is not known. The Ellenstegun here near the tops is quite hem- present. mirily and clear. There are many Cryptogrom On some surfaces, Ophiota sections are common. Also saw we Machinen.
