Transcription
These holes are clear the muck of a foul and dead bottom with almost no life. Above are the oysters and sea-weed attached animals whose shells drop into the dead bottom for preservation. I have also Smithwick's earth li. After shore Taurinus, A large diablo, with the valves spread out was common, I have but one specimen.
