The next day we stopped here to take the west dip and strike. The top of the eroded Marble Falls has a dip of about 8 degrees N, 55 W. The outlying strata was measured on a sandstone in place and the dip found to be the same or at least 7 degrees N, 55 W. The other dip is about 4 degrees due north.
