samples of tons of trees to see what they are made of. Later on and other samples of trees. The Teanus-Dimple series in its eastern or typical exposures seem as modern of their time, though lithology doesn't age. Their general lithology suggest the western "Teanus-Dimple," but the structural relations of this E. series is found that of the oristeme Teanus and Saptend series. At 3 P.M. we left Queens Blanchard and Baldwin who returned to Alpine, Dellands and I then continued on to Landerone (4 P.M.) and finally at 8.00 were arrived at Crustrell where we stayed for the night. It was just about too dark to appreciate the scenery of the Picos Rin as we descended into the gorge and heard out of it once miles to the south of the J.P.R.R. bridge. The road down and over of this canyon has not a great seem of curves.
