scarcely formif at Fuculina and Fenestella. In the criti tr against unformed cical limestone above Fuculina are more common. I have no doubt that the print out of the loose heap in the railway dump is from this same line, given. Strike of anticline S. 50 W. from Hayje's Ramel. Strike of lower anticlinal strata beneath the apparent formif, is S. 40 W. The upper flat lying limestone and sandstone dip south to N. between east end Phillips try stand vertical; in W side Phillips they descend for more gently to the W. Then tried to find localities farther south to the north of Fnr Pena, but saw no Chora- culites and Ordovician cherts, emply (also in- traformational) and limestone. Somewhere dii- flagaptus suggesting Trientm. Than came out again at Monethan and ventured W to Decie Ramel to the N of the road and here again are some Fuculina cylindrica, Phylidomella pecori, Composita subtilita and fragments of several Productus species. Then looked at the Vidrio beneath the Cro- comanche 11 miles E. of Alpino but did not see a single Vidrio fossils.
