"Dallas, Texas, Wednesday March 24-1926
SAT to the Beller Hotel, Dallas, at 10.45 and located on the 13th floor. First things easy, in the evening the girlgirls began to arrive.
Dallas March 25-26-27-1926
This morning the girls are flooding in at a very great rate and before noon the hotel is filled. The meetings start in fairly promptly and all goes smoothly. Dozen and dozen of friends, but unfortunately I cannot remember the gray people, and they are want to be recognized as remembered.
Friday afternoon there was no session. Had a long talk with Prof. Plummer of California. Finally Mr. Leigh granted to know if I could consider 3-4 weeks consultation regarding the Penns. Penn. and Permians of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. He thought his company The Leen Co. would pay me $5000 for any help. This work is to be done within next December a January 1927. Friday evening Plummer fare a dinner that took 20 people on the view of starting a Paleontological Society in the U.A.P.G. We are all behind the plan on a new toward a publication.
