PROFESSOR SCHUCHERT WILL LECTURE HERE Prof. Charles E. Schuchert, cura- tor of the Peabody Museum at Yale University, and professor emeritus of College over March 18, 19, 20, and 21, paleontology, will be here at A. and M. and will give several lectures on geo- logy and related topics. Prof. Schuchert has been carrying on certain research studies in the paleogeography of Texas, and is com- pleting a course of lectures at the State University at Austin. The people of Texas are to be congratu- lated on the privilege of interesting and entertaining a man of Prof. Schuchert's attainments, and both the University and A. and M. College are fortunate to secure a place on his busy program. Details of Prof. Schuchert's lec- tures will be announced later, but the following topics have been suggested: Animals, Historical Geology and Re- search in Science. In addition, to the above, it is hoped that Prof. Schuchert will be able to address all the engineering students on such a topic as "Geology and Engineering" and to meet one or two classes in Geo- logy. Prof. Schuchert has numerous slides to use in connection with his addresses, and all the Campus and Bryan people are cordially invited to attend these lectures. JAMES H. HANCE,head, Geology Department
