Boese's ammonid localities in the Glass Mts. 1. Immediately northwest of Wolf Camp 2. " " " " " " , on foothill 3. Ca. 2 miles WNW from Iron Mt., at foot of an extensive clay slide 4. Near junction of Road and Gilliam Canyons; on hills north of Leonard Mt. *5. Ca. 2 miles southwest of Altuda station (Southern Pacific R.R.), South of Bird's mine near the intrusive plug on Capt.James's ranch 6. Ca. 2 miles south of Gap Tank 7. Ca. 2 1/2 miles N.20° E. from the old oil derrick on Wedin's ranch at the foot of the first range of hills 8. 2 1/2 miles N.70° E. from the second tank above the headquarters ranch of the Hess ranch 9. Junction of Road and Gilliam Canyons; half a mile southeast of the latter point, especially frequent on the hill east of the first locality; mountain north of Leonard Mt. *10. Anticline on Hargis's ranch near railroad milepost 580, about 3 miles west of Marathon 11. 1 1/2 miles WNW of Iron Mt.; 3 miles N. of the old oil derrick on Wedin's ranch; valley north of Leonard Mt.(all these localities are in the Glass Mts.); 3 miles south of Bird's mine north of intrusive plug of Capt.James's ranch; region of the Altuda Mt. in Mt.Ord range. 12. Near top of ridge ca. 2 miles N.65° W. of Wolf Camp at head of valley leading down to tank 1/2 miles W of Wolf Camp. * Evidently not in Glass Mts. In Appendix: 200' below top of Wichita, 4 miles south of Dundee, Baylor Co. 300' below top of Clear Fork, ca. 4 miles east of western county line, Runnels Co.
