I am now on the down side of the road, and
have come about 1/2 mile across the strike of the
Vistula formation. Here again the intraformational conglomerate are present and the beds south Lefto-
Hluso and Olicello or aptian. If this is true I am
dealing with a syncline, and par than half of
the thickness crossed should be about the thickness
of the Vistula.

Here on the south grey road where the thfield
to the east may be seen a thick bedded limestone really
were
a fine anticline. It strikes almost E. and W. with dips
pitches to the W.
N. by S. (Sharon's compass). Therefore if I have been
coming over the syncline, then graphi- wellboring hits
on the older beds just above this thick bedded li.
I have crossed the southern limb of the anti-
cline and therefore now in the strata. The beds
are now more sandy with goss of thick arenac-
eous limestone. I am a small clear one
of another low hill and the dip remains almost
the same - to the south. There still much
