I am now on the down side of the road, and have come about 1/2 mile across the strike of the Vistula formation. Here again the intraformational conglomerate are present and the beds south Lefto- Hluso and Olicello or aptian. If this is true I am dealing with a syncline, and par than half of the thickness crossed should be about the thickness of the Vistula. onto my fail, I go into Here on the south grey road where the thfield to the east may be seen a thick bedded limestone really were a fine anticline. It strikes almost E. and W. with dips pitches to the W. N. by S. (Sharon's compass). Therefore if I have been coming over the syncline, then graphi- wellboring hits on the older beds just above this thick bedded li. I have crossed the southern limb of the anti- cline and therefore now in the strata. The beds are now more sandy with goss of thick arenac- eous limestone. I am a small clear one of another low hill and the dip remains almost the same - to the south. There still much intraformational conglomerate, but is less often
