It strikes almost E. and W. with dips pitches to the W. N. by S. (Sharon's compass). Therefore if I have been coming over the syncline, then graphi- wellboring hits on the older beds just above this thick bedded li. I have crossed the southern limb of the anti- cline and therefore now in the strata. The beds are now more sandy with goss of thick arenac- eous limestone.
