Hextz Ranch - 7/16/59 - Lm.2 Word lie; 2nd limestone by the road north of the tract - these are apparently 2nd or 3rd ls. - ... the field I judge it to be the 2nd ls. - or #1 box 3 Word 4/ls. - A- 12' up in ledge probably #3 3/4 mile up valley B - 10' " " " from earthen tank This is not too close to the massive beds at the top of the ridge - which King calls Vidrio - way 125'/6/150' below the Vidrio. The region is a dirty, dirty limestone in 2" to 6" beds with a few scattered fusulinids in some of the more indurated beds - 135' thick up to 4th ls. See Caliz. page for word 4-Vidrio sect. Road Canyon, East end - V -> median coll. jun. Word 3rd ls 35' deep (A) 8' ards ls sandy dolomite ls 18' ards ls 25 3/5 or so from 120' ls. 7' above ford 145' W ls. silurif - 6' 250' of orange-brown ss with a few thin yellow-gray ls. (6") 2nd ls goniatite bed 35'
