7/15/59 Split Tank Coll. 3 - (19) from egg ts in other dolomite facies - mostly this is a crinal cocchine - 15' below top. (maybe in lower ls of Leonard) Coll. 3 - (c) Leonard — [3-13] The upper beds of Leonard(2) have abundant fenestids Road to Red Tank Wood 1st ls. — has bs. cobbles on the upper unit, outlined by 15-20' of siliceous shale followed by dolomite #2 ls. → Coll. from flat near top of 1st ls. → Coll. - 4-5' above Wood ls. #2 The 4th Word ls. & the Video are dolostone facies for most part here. They like the upper 250' of these facies. Locally they have abundant relict outlines of fenestids but we couldn't find any that were well preserved. The Split Tank Leonard section is faulted in several places and we were able to follow King's section in only a general way. Cooper said each ls. was a lens which pinches out with a short distance and each of these apparently contains a distinct blackspod assemblage.
