144 8/26/58 Dugout Mt. 8/26/58/1 - Sec. 27, bed 3 (= 8/9/57/2) 8/26/58/2 - Sec. 26, bed 10 (= 8/6/57/2) This area above the east 27 about 400 yds SW in about same elevation 8/6/57/2 8/26/58/3 - boulder above Neez ledge - magnificent eroded column just 8/26/58/4 - NE of Dug Out Mt on small knob about 35' above base of "Neez" ledge. 8/26/58/5 - ammunition zone Dugout Mts sect. 26, bed 4 The Neez ledge thins from Sec. 26 to the NE. Course along 18-3 pockets of redstone and shale and then track again to corner. Big faces picture - so really good tops to the "wolfcamp" sequence there. Wilde showed me the conglomeratic conglomerate bed on Dugout Mt's justly the big undivided breccia and other things about same time - Equivalent to Neez Ranch section. The Neez is conglomerate cutically into yellow-orange siltstone. The siltstone and shale in place to the SEer along the face of Dugout Mt at the apex of the rugged 15+ grade on the Neez ledge. all the Q's are 'conglomerates' in the lower formation. Some chinked for 0"-12"x3' along strike, one of the highest single swaps seen 20° to O in 100yds.
