Brown. Old Bullyfield trail, near
head of Canyon.
8/11/58/4 - So, no cut to
Huaco Canyon, at border very near
base of (La Lom?)
Tom believes he has only 5 or 6
for this area, maybe. Call 1 is from
the Brown and perhaps can be translated
into Collier Lake Section. Call 2
and 8 are from an exactly the same
spot at near "Huaco" & Section (type)
Call 3, 4 is not in lower Peers 15, this
zone seems to carry through to the north.
Call 5 is for the County 2 quarry
where we got part of the
middle Cretaceous. Call 7 is from the
top of the Deer Mtns (map) and Call
6 is from about 32-40 a mile try
Deer Mt's trail in the upper Huaco.
There are occasional quarrels above
Call 6 on Cretaceous alt, as well as
possible S Colmar type fossils.
Tom believes he has one more
area and some layers in the upper
Huaco. The scattered fossils
about the look somewhat like
some of those spines we are collect.
