8/8/58
went up river boat
Call 8/8/57/1 from Great Canyon near lower Eagle Ford, Shickel but
3400 day total
2/6/58
Proceeding more slowly now,
but about 12 mile
The Canyon closed the width
of 10-30 feet and seems
to be projecting
considerably away from the walls.
Bored this year a natural, there
is a 50'-90' limestone layer
and some shale below it. There
a program call 2/8/57/4 has
30 of shales near Ridge Creek,
640
150'-200'
from the upper part, the western
New Chief Trail is equivalent to the
natural above the last studied below.
The natural seems to be restricted
to the marine limestone (and
shale, which are intruded) and
white limestone in term, escaped
to Colorado. In the Colorado were
calculated to a distance; the present
may be the initially factors.
The fault on the North side this
fault seems to cut the Leonard
(light) limestone, but to sliver
westward and become hiding some
faults in the shale interval
at the top of the 'Wet Canyon' - general.
Call 8/8/57/1,3,4 are probably
from the same Camp as
5/2/58/3 and 8/2/57/5
I believe many the 'Wet Canyon'
section above the Coulee on the
western end of this is missing
as result of faulting.
