118 2/4/52 - got up at five, the stream of Newbridge, Doughty Hill, then got back. Could not see much. The upper end of the river looked like a field and we stood up on it till we began to slide out toward the NE. 2/4/53 - same as last week, from middle pointing Newbridge on the N, cloudy. Doughty Hill where the stream cuts down through the hills, flooded with furniture & luggage, cut off much else. 2/4/53 - got a lady that consented to let us into her room at Newbridge, got there about 10:00 AM and found out it was closed.
