100 7/28/58 7/28/58/1 - least 3 nests of 40 eggs in Col. 3, Sect 14 7/28/58/2 - 7/28/58/3 - 7/28/58/4 -- 19, Sec 15 L 7/28/58/5 -- 19, Sec 16 b 7/28/58/6 -- to lb. nest 19 7/29/58 Decie Ranch by Dr Phillips We went to see 19 and collected from Col 3 (7/29/58/1, 2 bags), then low Juliet saw a nest suggest Cole Ranch cage. The way out leads down and across the stream to the south end on the west of the Terrace Road. There we picked several pairs in the col about 40 ft below the tree and Col 3 (7/29/58/2) in vainly + single birds. 7/29/58/3 - no eggs, a nest about 100 yds unnecessary on the south side fence rows The fence lines down east was now up at Delwedge sq. by eggs, bracks, & Co. nests -- 7/29/58/4 - no eggs from range about 100 yds E of 13 above near the bottom of the range farmhouse 7/29/58/5 - 200 yds L of 4 The lower nest, and nearby a small to be visible (guess) at Cole Ranch. The nest was in the Pen & B. Col at the stream bank (large) probably 1
