Collection 6/28/57/4 from a crown bishermal 1s in the Uddemites zone. This is approximately midway between the base of Pking's #2b and the top of the Gaptank ls. The Uddemites zone is badly eroded here. This section is in line with the road down to the Ranch House S65°E, I estimate the thickness to be 85-95'- The outcrop from which collection 6/28/57/6 is about 8'. afternoon west side of Main Hill The outward appearance of this is quite misleading. The Gaptank ls forms an anticlinal structure under the western bishermal of the main #2 ledge. The Uddemites zone and a part of the bishermal reef have slipped down over the lower Uddemites shale bedding planes. The mass now rests in a structural valley of the gaptank fm. The eastern side has moved the furthest with about 175'/g displacement; the western end is more less hinged about a point. Collection 6/28/57/7 - about 6'-below top of Gaptank fm- east side geologists' Canyon- On the east side of geologists Canyon, the "window" which C.O. pointed out on the first day is most confusing. I have some doubts as to whether it really is a "window" structure. The gaptank does show many folding at this locality and it seems that the Uddemites zone is missing and the #2ls of King rests directly on Gaptank ls.
