Arctic Tern 2 Glaucous Gull 20 Snowy Owl 3 Lapland Longspur 30 Snow Bunting 10 Hoary Redpoll 1 Lemmings: 15 Brown Lemmings seen at TBP site 1. Predators: A female observed brooding in marshy area SW of site 1, but there were no eggs - only a hollow scooped out in the grass. She then proceeded to catch a lemming and when a male arrived they tugged and pulled at it and then faced each other upright in some sort of display. Male then stood on female's back, stomping up and down and screaming at her. He then retreated into copulation position, but only for a brief moment. This was repeated again 3 times, with each duration of copulation position becoming longer. Dawn Pomarine observed over site 1. Pomarine seen chasing adult Glaucous Gull viciously. 3 Snowy Owls (2♂ 1♀) seen from Village Ridge. Longspurs: Nest found with 7 eggs n. of trap 13 on site 1. Traps opened between 0845-0945, closed at 2030-2100; checked at 1100, 1400, 1600, 2000; only four captures of three birds (all males, one new) despite cold weather. Female of nest 1 chased another
