Red Phalarope 40 Pomarine Jaeger 8 Glaucous Gull 50 Snowy Owl 7 Lapland Longspur 30 Snow Bunting 8 Lemmings: Sporadically distributed areas of very heavy cutting on Village Ridge. 12 seen at IBP site 1. Predators: Jaegers continue to be present, but in low densities according to Dr. Pitelka. One seen pursuing Glaucous Gull on Gasline Ridge; another bombing Snowy Owl on Village Ridge 3 pairs of Snowys seen at one time from vantage point on Village Ridge, all within same square half-mile.
