Remsen J.V. 1972 Journal also Golden-crowned Sparrow 1 - camp Lemmings: 1 IBP, 1 Britton, one of which was captured by a Glauccous Gull Predators: 10 Pomarine Jaegers in 2's and singles 1 dark Parasitic Jaeger near IBP → E 1 & Snowy Owl, W. edge of Family Lagoon Glauccous Gull seen to capture and eat a Brown Lemming Shorebird courtship: pair of White-rumped Sandpiper courtins W. of Calleater; male makes an unbelievably mechanical sound, consisting of a low buzz followed by a high-pitched hiss several times in a row. Baird's also seen displaying - sounds much like a Dunlin. Wingbeats in flight display slow like a hawk. One bird viciously attacked anything in the vicinity, including even a Hoary Redpoll Migration: Sabines and Arctic Terns moving E along cost. 2 Arctic Loons moving west (i) and south (i) NARL, Point Barrow, Alaska 12 June Location: IBP sites to Britton area Time: 0815 - 1200, 1515 - 1700 Wind: 0 - 10 Temp: 35-50?
