Pectoral Sandpiper 12 Baird's Sandpiper 15 Semipalmated Sandpiper 25 Red Phalarope 30 - found N / l 20 feet w. of trapline IVA Pomarine Jaeger 10 Parasitic Jaeger 2 (1 dark) Long-tailed Jaeger 32 Glaucous Gull 20 Snowy Owl 3 Lapland Longspur 35 Snow Bunting 10 + ocean: Oldsquaw 200 → W Lemmings: 1 Village Ridge Predators: Same pair of parasitics noted near site 1 by F.A.P. and myself for last 3 days. Flock of 32 Long-tailed Jaegers circling around together with some screaming and chirping at N. end of Village Ridge. Longspurs: Several flying Fledglings noted along Village Ridge. Shorebirds: Dunlin nest found on 6-18 an village ridge contained no eggs. Only one male Pectoral seen. Groups of 6 and 3 Jst-year birds seen ; one incubating ♀ collected. Golden Plover nest in Voth Slough contained only one egg. Migration: 1 loon(sp) → S ; 200 Oldsquaws → W along coast
