Found injured (and starving as indicated by light weight) at IBP Site 1, Barrow, Alaska, 6-23-72. Ova to 4 mm. 1972-3 Phalaropus fulicarius ♀ 51.1 g. Found injured near Voth Slough, Barrow, Alaska, 7-6-72. Ova to 1 mm. 1972-4 Calidris melanotos ♀ 58.2 g. Collected by F.A. Pitelka in Voth Slough, Barrow, Alaska, 7-9-72. Four two to follicles recently collapsed (probably laid eggs three days earlier according to. F.A.P.). Light fat. 1972-5 Xema sabini ♀ 139.7 g. Found dead at Point Barrow, Alaska by Don Schell on 7-11-72. Ova to 2 mm. No fat. 1972-6 Calidris melanotos ♀ 55.5 g. Collected by Tom Custer 2 miles south of Barrow Village, Alaska, 7-21-72. Ova < 1 mm, Light fat. 1972-7 Calcarius lapponicus ?sex JW, No wt. Found at Site 2 with broken wing (IBP site, Barrow, Alaska) 7-30-72, where it was found on 7-20 by Jeff Myll but not collected. Banded 79-84830 as a nestling in IBP Nest 1 on 6-30-72.
