Common Elder 4 - most likely - almost all white eider♀ 2 ♀ Oldsquaw 4000 (counted by 100s) Thick-billed Murre 2 behind NARL: Sempalmated Plover 1 - 1 egg Lemmings: 2 Site 2, 0 Site 1 Jaegers: One pair found earlier in Voth Slough (first nest I found) must have failed - no sign of the pair anywhere. Longspurs: Checked IBP Nets 1000-1045. Did IBP census 1015-1045, Changed D2 film 2245; Fenced P3 and weighed remaining young till 2330. Shorebirds: Placed nest camera on Curlew N1 at 0915. Pectoral still hooting, 4 Buff-breasted on banks of Voth Creek at Site 1 - chasing but no displaying. Migration: None, except possibly all birds seen in ice lead.
