It is hard not to think Jamie Californie, the sand is the same, and the trees have about the aspect of bristle pines, tho smaller, the long leaf is very pret ty tho coarse. Its bal Jamie order is fine as I say the oleander and think to keep from the cinders. When small it has much the appear- ance of a narrow-leafed yucca especially when about a foot tall, distis, lobelia of sabatiare in bloom. also Vernonia.
