6.0 Shale, gray to dark-gray, silty to non-silty, locally has csub frags in basal foot. Thin interbeds fine gr. sdsstone, chiefly in lower half. Locally some of these thin ss are f impreg., weather fresh. 1.3 Sandstone, fine-grained, friable, massive, weathers light yellowish to pinkish gray. 3.0+ Claystone, silty, to sandy at base, light gray, ten cast, with Fe O+ yellow accumulations in spherulitic clusters - chiefly in upper foot 6.0+ Variable zone. Locally chiefly 2 gray to dk gray claystone with carb flocks and about 0.6 lignitic shale at top. Laterally, within 75 feet changes to 1.0 lig. shale top; 0.5 thinbedded ss, 3.5 gray claystone with carb frags, and 1.0 lig shale at base. 6.5 Sandstone, thin bedded, brown weath, with interbeds & pertings sandy shale.
