Locality 44 Linton - Seeman Park locality (with K.T. Pierre & Berguzzini's) Pierre found nicolleti conc in place. Following section measured. Part 1 A 2.0-4.0 meters Concretionary zone - most persistent in upper part of ledge. Scch, reddish torusty bnr weather. Concs up to 4' long diam. Matrix is dk gray clayey silt with scars & spots limonite & jarosite. Cons soft silty is to hard ls. - Gervillia (Gnzil) and Protocruzia most common. Sample 1 15.0+ Silty gray shale irregularly, thinly interbedded with silt & shaly silt. Gyp-filled (socalite) fractures. Scattered ls. concretions. Bedding noticeable on vertical weathered bluffs. Fresh cut shows dk gray to blush black clay sh, in thin (up to 0.1) lenses in yellow strachad gray silty silt. Silt bands finely laminated Conc. breakdown Feet below base unit A: 3.5-5+ "barren" hard ls concs with rare scch fossils (I D.P. imprint.) 9734- white surface, "warm" 41
