5.0+ Claystone grey, no blocky or hard layers. (Sample W-57-4 - Spots from) 5' channel. At base few inches grayer more blocky becoming argill ls. This + top layer is ore included in Sample W-57-5 Below this another grey claystone -- limestone section -- total thickness approx. 17 feet. Upper 5.5-- W-57-6 - chiefly shaly Middle " W 57-7 - blocky Lower " W 57-8 - not clueded 2 spots. Limestone in lenses + thin beds up to 0.8 locally, weathers white, clayns gray to dark gray (very locally) ' ' in most part Grades at base to beaufortie claystone to light gray, (W-57-9 is upper foot.) Below this clsfu gray loc yell + green cast for +8' then highly colored cltns - about 5' red yell + purple with good clay float not reaching its top. Below 4
