Review of the Fox Hills Fun depo environments. Discussions rised, again, the problem of whether these indeed represent barrier - deltas as 2 'separate' (in sense of directional) deposystems or whether they are barrier - 12gpm. Allan Lanza Cr(1) most agreed with barrier delta but it was not with much certainty, two Bullhead lithofacies is the major problem. Talking with Dave L &t Remmerer we discussed other possibilities. TIL is shoreface deltafront sand that t its SW end and is prograded, bar-like in a spit, TIL's barrier, Bullhead lagoon, Colyule deltas in 12gpm. Read Botsky's Field Guide to Back Cliffs - is excellent review of features of cleffs in general. Dave L & I agreed we need to look more closely at details. Lanza Cr(1) is a fine Masters thesis. A review of TFA in order. Another MS is the Bear River - this would open, Eric obviously interested. At this stage, it is not a PhD possibility but its very ambitious to PhD prospects. Located outcrop in structurally complex zone is problem.
