Everston Area. 7 or 8 miles S. of town on
the East side of Bear River
Road cut exposures of Bear River Fm in
east wall Bear Creek. Gravel Road that
takes off to S. just E of bridge that
takes Wyoming Hwy # 150 across Bear
River. Good outcrops start about 6 mi
S of #150.
Succession varied. Thin to medium beds
of shale, crud shale, chystone, sandstone
+ few limestone. Also lignite + beakquile layers
Beds are upside down. This shown by
dominance of concave-up shells in
numerous shell beds in sh. sst ls.
