July 16 Fri. Leave Hamden 106 Motel (Kef-Mel) Bellefont Pa. (+484) 784v Dinner(Bush House Tavern) 517v Bellefont (Excellent.) Got truck back around 10 and took off about 11, Rt 84 complete to Port Jervis. US 209 not too bad. On 80 at west stop began to get pounding air starting to vibrate. Got increasingly worse. Decided to get off far gas & look for motel at 80-US220 junction near Milesburg. Went to Bellefonte got Motel. Found out noise was muffler coming loose. On chassis e Chevy place near State College open we went there - lucky it got it fixed. Back to Bellefonte for dinner. Chazulia spoiled the tavern. Very good, still trout in town streetcar. Many intriguing old buildings.
