Took bus to Lusk, zvr. at 9:20, boy's writing. I drove to Cheyenne, lunched in Lion park, watched jets practice. Got hwy map Niobrara Co., on to Laramie where met Bill Thomas, State Guard + said hello to Don Blackstone. Told Thomas would send him copies Eichen's Rpt 30 or so. Mike Price had decided to hitchhike to Grief and he left party here-equipped with my pack and a sign "YALE TO SAN DIEGO". We told him we would stop in Laramie on way back tomorrow. On to Fort Collins amid rain - so took hotel. Am pooped.
