July 14 Bkfst Groceries Rooms (Brown Palace Mobridge) Dinner ( Screws') Beer Flick Postcards & Mag. 24.70 Left T.L. after brief visit with Stoick and the Byingtons. Went east to Gen's Graye place to look at T.C. in breaks, found cow caught in fence and finally got hand from large ranch (whose?) N of Grayes' to cut it loose. Then S of Grayes to collect from breaks. Plenty of fossils (78 & 79) but not good exposures. Left for Mobridge but got there too late to pack & ship stuff.
