Locality 72 Damberger Rzuch - local bedlands in the Bullhead and Colgate members in SW¼, sec. 15, T. 14 N., R. 20 E., Ziebach Co. S.D. Section measured from exposures in SE¼ SW¼ of sec. 15, and adjacent parts of sec. 22. Measuring up from Valley flzt. (1) 8.0± Popcorn crust on silty clay and clayey silt, thin-bedded, plant fragments. At top is zone czlc. gray sandstone masses loc. weath dk. rd. brown with loc. cone-in-cone; bedding x 12m. masses up to 3' Sample #1 - Lower gray unit and sand (2) 14.0 Havel clayey silt with lzyclvs vfg gray sand. Some loc. jerositic & Fe brun specks + streaks. Whole weathrs. gray with light gray bedding. Plant frags common Also scat Sample #1 lower 5' clayey silt COC3 cemented sandy cones, small < 1' irreg, and ocoid ochvous cones up to 5"±. In upper 6'-8' +zt top shelves of c(CO3 rb ss up to 6'. Sample #2 upper 5' sand+ fos. A649 (3) 22.0 Similar to unit (2) below, but clayeyert more markedly thin-bedded and overall color is brownish gray, and clayrock more fissile. Modl finely dissem. plant matter some czrb bedding surfaces. Sample 3 brn shi sand layers + lenses loc. thicker small cone. sand layer 5-6' above in upper half base scat, rb cones thin, irreg, czlc, with rough-crckred surfaces common. Some ochvous powdery cones, + 'platy OB chips. Lorelly has cozly lenses 2
