LOCALITY 76 Born Creek Section 1 - Cut in Trzil City (±) at Strozum level. (1) 8.0 Shale talus to creek bottom. (2) 14.3 Shale, dk gray, clay, very finely silty, darker blue-gray stain on fracture surfaces, garding upward into more silty gray and dk gray shale with irregular interbeds gray clayey silt. At top is layer of scattered ls. cones, with gray silt jackets & cores of brownish to purple ls, up to 1.5 cmism. Other cones in interval are red + OR wash flat-oval cones with light gray to cream centers that are slightly chlc & prob becoming sideritic. All cones brown (3) 12.5 Shale, silty, gray to dk gray, laminar and thin interbeds of gray silt. At top is layer brown red to OR wash oval to flat-oval cones, yellowish gray inside - some chlc reaction but prob. becoming sideritic (4) 8.3 Shale as in unit 3 with some Fe brown staining. At top is layer ls cones, gray jackets, core washes, purple-rb., some yellow chlc in crecks., > few scatt. Not avoid, rb cones in upper 2'; 26
