Starting at jvosite blob zone top of unit 5,

(1) 6.0 Lignitic shale and gray to brown-gray
shale with plant frags
(2) 2.5 Clayey silt gray-bn gray with crvb
frags.
(3) 2.5 Lignitic shale and purple gray clayey
silt. Local Fe accumulation at top
some Fe stone chips, locally textlit
dinosaur bone. (Sample 1) [Union? from

frags, local lenses of lignitic
shale at top.
(5) 23.0 Sandstone, subgraywacke, fq to vfg
interstitial clay, weathes to light
gray fluted bluff. Cross bedding shown
by crvb zones of laminz, Fe conc
layers at crumbly bn Fe cementation,
and OB colored zones laminze. Also
has some soft oval jvositic lumps
and some platy-oval calc cemented
gray white weath. kilzm. conc mosses.
Fragments carbonized wood are
common, and lower 5' contzns lzrgo
poorly preserved shells whose thick
pearly shell suggests Unios
