7.0 - ? Silt, slightly clayey, brownish gray,
some v.f. q sand grains locally,
grades upward into soil zone under
top of bluff.
Interval of concretions between top of unit
2 and top of unit 3 -- about 9' thick,
appears to contain all of Timber Lake fauna
here. Beds below are unfossiliferous.
Section 2. - Section cleaved through popcorn
beneath big bountite.

23.0 Silt, gray, clayey, blocky, some
small streaks and blobs but mostly
fairly uniform, becomes somewhat
more clayey in lower 4' and in
upper feet. Single small ovoid calc
conc. found 16 ft from base. At top is
(2) 0.5 ft of bentonite with cone-in-cone
cone.
