Relation to Tencrediz-Helymanites zone not determined. General notes on Fox Hills. According to Stevenson no types for either Trail City or Timber Lake members. S.D. Survey practice is to call it T.C. with first sand in shale, 2nd carry it up to first massive sand which is Timber Lake. If these two units are persistent, and they appear to be, then faunal distribution in them is peculiar and needs explanation. Example is Timber Lake member.
