(2) 23,1 Silty clay grading upward to clayey
silt, dk gray to gray, weathers to
light gray. Upper 4' commonly
puffs to crude popcorn, locally
brown zone on slope about 2' from top.
top is local zone gypsistic. Local
punky silt concretions in upper 2'.
Considerable OB + gypsistic stems
scattered throughout unit.
(3) 3.0 Clayey silt as below
(4) 53,5 Thinly interbedded and interlaminated
silty shale, siltstone and fine-grained
sandstone, with SS + siltst. increasing
upward. Local indurated lenses
from 27' up. Gradual color change
from gray to yellow gray. Local
platy clay brown, flat concretions
