Begins at least 40 ft up from first river terrace in gulley E end of large slump. Horizon of start unknown and first interval may be partly slumped
(1) 15.1 Silty gray clay and clayey silt,
chieflly mixed, has about 1ft of good silty gray-clk-gray clay at base. Scattered small gray ls cones, 2 or 3' diam and some flat-ovoid yellowish gray weath.
ls. cones, some with silty rinds.
Scattered jzrosite blebs,
Sample 1 in bzsl 1.5
Sample 2 in upper 2.0
At top is layer scattered huge (3.to 4. in long diam.) ls. cones.
which weather light yellow-bvsh brown.
(2) 14.0 Sand, v fq and silt, tough, clayey hard, no bedding structure. Very few jzrosite blebs. At about 4.0 from top scattered cones.
