LOC. 57 now 57C End of divide east of Redwater Creek. In SW¼ NE¼ NW¼, sec. 32, T.15N., R.25E, Parade NE. Quzd. on SW slopes and top of spur. Also for small knob just SE in center S½ N½ of sec. 32. Beds from Elk Butte member to the Protocruziz - P. nebraskensis conc. layer(s) partially exposed. (A489) LOC. 57A Southwest facing bluffs of same divide in the SW cor. of sec. 29, T.15N., R.25E. Here partial exposures are better and permit composite from two sections. Collections = A 487, A490, # 491 Section I. (1) 11,0 to? Typical Elk Butte dk grey flaky sh. (2) 4,8 Mixed dk grey silt & silt, mottled grey & light grey, jzvosite bend at top (3) 11,0 Mixed dk silty clay & clayey silt, jzvosite blocks in upper 6', Jacketed gray ls cones - very thick silt jackets. from about 3 or 4' to 8' from base. All barren here. (4) 5,5 Grass covered slope to layer of chiefly barren PB conc - see Section 2 52
