Section 1) NW trending spur just S NE cor, sec, 9, Begins at first conc layer with conc-in-conc. 1) 0.3 Layer flat cslc. concs with conc-in-cone rims, and also plan c-in-c conccs, small ldonczrec in one. Below is silty clay as above for at least 15.5 feet to light gray hard only slightly clayey silt which may not be in place. 2) 3.5 Dk gray silty clay, weathers to grayish popcorn, underlain by hard gray clay with irveg patches silt. zhd soluc gvosite in upper 1.0. 3) 3.0 As in 3.5 but gvosite layer at base and pods gvosite throught. 4) 3.4 Covered - Flat across area of contact. 5) 10.8 Bended beds, dominantly brownish gray shiley to clayey silt plant ferzes with scattered layers silt in 3 to 4 from top and 2 to 5 from base. At top is locally persistent layer red weath conccs in bed silt. Only persistant such layer in this part of section (loc. var ss) 6) 38.0 Bended beds, chiefly shaly silts some silty shale, scattered layers of silt and vrg 47
