Resume of North Dakota trip. Told Bud of report of large shells from housing project in Bismarck. Then returned to Fox Hills in Bismarck - if these Cannondell may be ammonoids and very late Spheno's - Look into this. Big discussion on Linton section. I argued that though no sharp change to Silty "Tril City" lithology the Is. cones + fossil accumulations were lith characters typifying T.Ci, and an integral part of its description (check) THIS SHOULD BE STRESSED IN REDEFINITION, Also concurred that subunits should be on lith basis, J.T.L. lith comes in top of bluff at Linton just above Gervilla cones Also - Colyte better classed as lentic then member locally.
