Locality 89 Exposures on spurs and slump blocks NE of bluff on T.L. member in SE¼, SW¼, sec. 22, T. 14 N., R. 23 E., Lzutrý NE gdzd, So. Dzk. Scouted without success for adequate section across Trail City lower contact but too much slough. Potentially good from Elk Butte to Protozerda but would take deep trenching. On lower spurs below the Izuye T.L. slump block Protozerda and Limopsis lzyeri present. Prob yielded a few scattered D. nicolleti's and Limop lzyer; one small Sphend and a single Limopsis. Beneath Limopsis zone of small, abundant concs many of which contain D. nicolleti and larger ammonite, one had numerous Drepanochilus (collected). The contact with the Elk Butte is nowhere adequately exposed for measurement, it seems that the thickness between Limopsis lzyer & Elk Butte is greater than usual here, at 88 and probably also at 30. The Izuye Timber Lake slump here has its face sloughed badly - needs more slipping to afford a decent section - very poor at moment. It has slid over upper Trail City. No good exposures here for measuring, but may be fair collecting - particularly at upper conc. lzyer - Idouavez concs & white ones.
