Locality 87 - Road cut and hill slopes in SE corner Sec. 27, T.14N., R. 23 E, and 2d part SW cor. sec 26, Lantry NE qwd., Dewey Co., So. Dak Concretion layers in Timber Lake and top of Trail City, but no exposures offering very good section. Timber Lake member exposed at edge of bluff. A very clayey sand. Not good enough exposure for adequate section. CAZ Large concs between or next of small Idonezcucis. A 740 "Berven" layer, brittle gray lg cones OB weath - loc. fos. accumulations. Red brown weath. cones, Jacketed, bearing big spheno's, some big D. nebrascensis Three prominent conc. layers as shown above, but many foss. Cones scattered - or not located in interval between Big spheno layer and top layer, Also some in float above top layer in grass but may be gravel. Note - Rod Feldmann found a "nebrascensis only about 3 1/4" long, mixture - but not so many nodes on tip BC. Borrow if needed. 13
