Small butte in center S 1/2, sec 31, T.17 N.,
R.24 E. On S side the bare patches show
T.L. type sand with rusty worth conchs. Upward
the sand becomes lighter & gradually more
indurated, grading to the typical cap.
This locality and proceeding viewsof
together give convincing evidence that
local butte caps are indurated T.L.
Fossil conchs here incl. oyster clusters, mactra,
heligmontes through out
